Pre-install kitchen site survey

Checklist

The questions to answer before you book a crew, so the first day on site is an install day.

Who it is for
Surveyors, project coordinators, and owners who still take the first visit themselves.
What you leave with
A job the install team can run without calling the office for basics.

What is on the list

Access and protection

  • Parking, lift, and carry path for carcasses and worktops
  • Working hours and noise constraints in the building
  • Protection needed for floors, stairs, and adjacent rooms
  • Whether the kitchen remains in use during the job

Building and services

  • Walls, floor, and ceiling condition after strip-out assumptions
  • Stopcocks, electrics, and gas / induction supply locations
  • Out-of-square walls or out-of-level floors noted with photos
  • Ventilation route if a hood is specified

Spec still in doubt

  • Appliance models and delivery dates confirmed in writing
  • Worktop material, joints, and sink choice locked
  • Who supplies what (company vs client) listed
  • Client decisions still open, with a date they must close

We send nothing but this list. Your email is a lead for our team — the same form as contact — so we can follow up about running these checklists on the job.

We use this to send the resource and, if it is relevant, to talk about a demo. No newsletter by default.

Run the same lists on the job, not in a van folder
